Welcome to Bigwood Fisheries in Blofield situated within close proximity to the A47 east of Norwich, we have spent time to try and create a fishery with two lakes featuring a carp orientated lake and mixed course lake.

Our Carp lake has been stocked over the years with fish up to 16lb, these fish are now into the twenties. The lake contains some decent Tench which are natural stocking and have been present in the lake for decades so the true size remains to be seen. There is a good head of stock around 8-12lb so a double figure fish is not too hard to come by.

Our mixed course lake has been stocked with Roach, Rudd, Bream, Tench, several large Carp, Gudgeon and contains natural stock with a good head of large Pike well into double figures a couple coming out at just ounces under twenty in the last two seasons, Perch and a wonderful unknown element as to what this old estate lake truly contains.

We are continually monitoring and a stocking programme is in place, most recently the addition of some pure crucian for the site so we truly hope you can come along and enjoy some tight lines and become integral to the growth of the club.
